A Moment Frozen in Time
When most people think of the phrase ‘a moment frozen in time’ they most likely are either thinking of a literal frozen moment, or a photograph. I love photography so much because of how it freezes our memories so we can enjoy them for years to come. On the other hand, what if a moment frozen in time also can refer to music?
This world is so chalked full of different genres of music it is awesome. That just shows the amazing uniqueness of this world. On the other hand, music is quite like photography in an aspect of memories, nostalgia, a universal language, and a moment frozen in time.
Out of all the different genres of music in this world I can say that Indie folk and country are my top favorites. Those can be followed by Hawaiian. There is just something so nice about listening to these specific genres of music. They take me to a whole different world, but there is one genre that takes me back to a time that I was not even alive…
"Music in the soul can be heard by the universe."
Vintage music -more specifically from artists such as Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, and Ella Fitzgerald- just seems to bring back memories from a time that I did not even live in. I’ve always loved all things vintage; that is anything quite some time before my time. I love everything from the 1900s to the 1970s. I believe that the music and the objects from these time periods are worth a lot because they hold a lot of history.
Every time I hear certain songs I am always transported back to a certain memory, time, or place. Human minds seem to connect sounds with actual events that happened. I have always been sort of considered a vintage soul in a modern world. Listening to these older songs is like listening to the melodious birds chirping on a beautiful spring morning.

I guess that I can say that French music from this time period also transports me to a whole different world next to the Eiffel Tower. Music is also one of the many concepts that inspire me to travel. I have been able to hear and be introduced to several new types of music. However the following genres still remain my favorite to this day:
1- Vintage and vintage jazz
3- Indie Folk and Indie Alternative
4- Hawaiian and Polynesian
In the end, both music and photography transports us to the past. Music is what bonds the world together and makes the world a better place.
"Music is life itself."
