Who doesn't like animals? I mean, they are so cute, cuddly, and friendly. Without a doubt I am a huge animal lover. Whether it is dogs, chickens, cats, turtles, or even horses; I love them all. Animals are such kind creatures that cause a spike in the brain's serotonin levels. With that being said, I also love being around animals. There is just some sort of connection that I can make with these gentle creatures. Maybe it is a 'thing' with being an empath, but I love it. On that note, I do have a dog and some chickens, and I love them with all my heart. My dog is just so sweet and kind. She loves to be in the water and outside. Camping is sort of her second home. Duck hunting being her first. As for the chickens, they just love toiling around the yard bobbing their heads back and forth when they run. Since I have these animals I have been able to realize that each animal has their own personalities. Each person is unique, and so are animals. Without the unlike personalities this world would be pretty boring. There is something that all dogs, plants, rocks, and humans have in common and that is that all of these nouns are unique in their own way. One animal that is on my 'to own' list is a horse. Albeit, I love horses with all my heart. I have rarely been around them, but I really love them. They are wonderful creatures with amazing capabilities. Horses partially inspire my liking for country music. There is just something about the country living lifestyle that seems so nostalgic, yet a dream at the same time. Since I love to travel I have been able to see many types and species of animals. In the warm Pacific waters that surround the islands of Hawaii there are many turtles swimming. Snorkeling has provided a whole new window into the world. As humans that live on land we only really get to see what is on the land and in the sky. Taking a trip out to the ocean and actually snorkeling has made me understand more about the world. It is really a whole different world under the ocean. It was quite intimidating at first, but once I was able to see the fish swimming below my body I could see the bigger picture. This world is a beautiful place to live. "When I look into the eyes of an animal I do not see an animal. I see a living being. I see a friend. I feel a soul." Animals are one of the many things that just never cease to amaze me. They are our sincere friends that stand by us. I will forever love and appreciate animals. Stay tuned for an animal bucket list.
