"Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better." Camping is an activity that anyone can participate in. There are so many opportunities that camping brings. Anything from fishing, campfire activities, hiking, biking, or even just watching the sky. Check out my other post about camping.
Taking a break from the city is something that we all need every once in a while. The hustle and bustle of everyday life can overcome lives and drain the happiness from our souls. Taking the leap of faith and venturing out can be quite the task for some. However, camping should be treated as a break from the real world. The first reason why I love camping is because of the peace. If you live in the city, then chances are, you hear cars and maybe your neighbors. Camping is a silent break that involves turning off your city ears for a while. It's always nice to have a silent time every once in a while. Camping provides the peace that everyone's ears need after a stressful work week. My favorite thing to do is walk outside when it is completely dark and very silent. It is nice to hear absolutely no noises. Camping provides an affordable mini vacation. There's lots of free opportunities that bring great experiences. Some of my favorite spots are located off the side of the road in the mountains. If you don't want to go in the back country, then do some online searching. Really, the only dollars that will be spent need to go to food and fuel. That is quite neat to spend a little weekend in the mountains. Trying something new is not always a comfortable experience. Camping is always worth it because of the connection with nature. If you have read my previous blog posts, I love to connect with nature, be in, as well as hear nature. In the city, we are all so far away from nature that it makes happiness harder to achieve. There is just something about the birds chirping and the smell of pine trees that just brings back happiness. With technology reachable to everyone, people are becoming more disconnected. Camping provides the perfect opportunity to get away from the phone calls, emails, text messages, and games. I love camping because of this reason. With the technology gone, the opportunities grow. Making memories is one that will sure last a lifetime. In 25 years you'll still be talking about the time you went camping and your brother threw the frisbee into the fried chicken. You might even remember when a sibling hooked themself in the face when casting out the fishing line. Making memories is so much fun, and it's a lot better than having 'things'. If you have a hard time remembering create a photo album, bullet journal, or even a travel keepsake. Life is too short to sit back in the city and work. Get out and adventure. Make sure to have fun and notice emotions and connections. Camping creates a new you while being surrounded by nature and the people you love. Breathe the air, run in the field, and catch memories.
