Oftentimes it seems as if we all forget the smallest things. Read this post further in order to understand how the smallest things have helped me press forward. Words can just be a confusing thing. Sometimes we use art, photos, or even words to express how we feel about something. I can certainly agree that these are wonderful ways of expression. However, do we often express what we are grateful for? The word of grateful also goes a long with words such as thankful, appreciative, and maybe even cherish. Throughout my life I have had to recognize the smallest things. Most of the time our minds are filled with the stresses of daily life, the biggest blessings, and even our accomplishments. While all of those things are normal, it is still always more than important to recognize those small things. In my own personal life those things are what have helped keep me going. Why do the smallest things go unnoticed? Well, in my personal opinion, these things go unnoticed because we are so focused on everything else. The small blessings have been put here to remind us that this world is a pretty amazing place to be. They also remind us of the hand of God in our own life. The past six months have been nothing short of amazing. So many big things have been happening -big and small. I have had the privilege to graduate from high school this past week, and that was a wondrous experience. Walking down that aisle to receive my diploma was nothing short of amazing. Through everything that has been happening, I have still been able to count my many blessings. How often do you count your many blessings? Every time I look up at the sky I cannot help but think of my future wearing a commercial pilot uniform, flying planes through the sky, and even traveling the world. The smallest moments, the smallest steps, and even the smallest things count the most. Every grain of sand, every star in the sky, and even every organism on this planet is nothing short of pure astonishment. All of the sounds, the smells, the tastes, and even all of the feelings are in this same category of pure bewildering blessings. I can say so myself that this world is full of so much that it is so hard to even wrap our minds around it. It is hard to even fathom how many blessings we have actually gotten in life. Whether you are 18, 40, 78, or even 105, we all have these small and simple things. Sometimes it takes a lot of time, effort, and searching in order to find these small blessings. In the end, it is always so rewarding to count these up, write them, and reflect back on them. In the end, life is full of pure amazement. The way we have been blessed is beyond forgettable. Being able to find these blessings so to speak, is a process. However, through the seemingly lengthy process you will be able to understand how amazing life is. I cannot emphasize how amazing life is. There is this pure bliss knowing that you and I are a part of the 7.5 billion and counting people on this planet. How amazing is that? When thinking about that I cannot help but remember how fortunate I am to be here today on this gorgeous planet. The music that fills my ears, the smells that fill my nose, and even the information that fills my mind is just so neat. When our shadows seemingly run away from the sun's cast, when our minds think and remember, and when the friendly dog comes up to greet, I am always reminded of how much this amazing world has to offer. With that being said, I thought I would compose a list of things I am grateful for. With me being out of high school I cannot help but think of these small -yet big- accomplishments, moments, and blessings. "The smallest moments, the smallest steps, and even the smallest things count the most. Every grain of sand, every star in the sky, and even every organism on this planet is nothing short of pure astonishment. All of the sounds, the smells, the tastes, and even all of the feelings are in this same category of pure bewildering blessings. I can say so myself that this world is full of so much that it is so hard to even wrap our minds around it."
