"Not very. many people really associate the bee with aviation. Aside from birds, bees have really secretly been such inspiration for this industry. Bee a bee and fly high." Mankind has had to be open minded through all time with all perspectives. Since the seemingly beginning of time man and women have had the urge and desire to take flight. What happens when one person’s influence changes everything? Well that was the case for the Wright Brothers. They had continued the idea and the aspiration to fly. They were able to finally find a solution to make the longtime dreams come true. At last the plane took off and left writers writing in regards to the event in books, history was made. That sheer moment changed the world for good. Time and effort has perfected the industry into what it is today. The beauty of flying is not just in the physics, but it is in the journey that got us here to where we are today. When thinking about the concept of flight, it seems near impossible. However, impossibility is always possible. One of my all time favorite movies has to be the 'Bee Movie'. In this show it takes the viewer on an adventure that highlights honey hive life with Barry. This bee eventually befriends a human, which is strictly against the bee's book of rules. The story is quite a humbling one in a sense that there is a fabulous moral to the story. While this story might seem purely cheesy, specially since I am an 18 year old saying a bee cartoon is one of my favorite movies, there really is a heartfelt memory to that story. I have always felt so connected with that show also because it emphasizes the importance of saving the bees. Not only that, 'The Bee Movie' also showcases the importance of friendship with everyone and everything. One of the quotes from this show has always stuck around in my mind, "According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible." In my personal experience, this quote reflects what is actually true. The bees and the birds actually seem to defy physics in a way. However, they turn the impossible into possible. So what exactly can we learn from these small creatures? The simplest way the life giving lesson we can learn from this can be stated is this: anything is possible. Flight has always been possible. The birds, the honeybees, the wasps, and the bumblebees fly. The dragonflies, butterflies, and even mosquitoes fly... so why can't I? The answer is yes, yes, we can all fly. There is absolutely no doubt that flying is indeed possible. The basics of flight have long been elaborated into something new, something better. The concept stays the same, but everything else has become bigger and better. The interesting thing about aviation is that sheer evolution. Aviation has really come a long way so to speak, and that is absolutely wonderful. As a soon to be pilot I cannot wait to finally be able to see the future of aviation as a whole. This industry really means something so deep to me. That connection will never leave my soul, it will stick around seemingly forever and ever. On that note, this is life. Flying is life and the sky is my home. "Living life is mainly about what we do, not what we have. It is the little things that count."
