"Words... those have power, a deep power. Words are stronger than a sword and more powerful than a jet engine." When I was younger I thought that writing was highly overrated. It was not until I got a little bit older when I finally connected with words. These words taught me that we all have power -we have the power to help others with our words, actions, and kindness. I began this blog to keep a journal for the world to see, to see my life, my adventure, and myself grow. I love to teach and help others, so this was the best way I could find to achieve that status. Though these are all just words on a screen, they really do come from my heart, mind, and spirit. What do I like to write? -Blog Posts -Captions -Books -Talks -Poems -Stories -Essays -Quotes -Messages -Letters While this list could seemingly go on forever and ever, I must mention that I use words to write my feelings. As a future airline pilot it is so important that I keep a journal and a tracking report of my journey from zero to commercial. I want the world to know more about aviation as a whole. With me being a female going into aviation I thought this would be the perfect space to curate content to help everyone. This is such an important subject for me. This is one that I know will hopefully inspire others to continue their path. I do not just write because it is all about my blog or aviation. I love to write books, poems, and stories. Whether these are based on history, feelings, or just dreams, I can indeed say that writing is my safe place. I am currently writing a book based on aviation and flying. I am so excited to announce this because I have been working on it for a long long time. This has been a year in the process and I am so elated to continue forward with it. The book is titled 'Nur Für Dich,' which translates over to 'Only for You' from German to English. This beautiful -yet humbling- love story really shows what it takes to be a pilot. summaryWhen war rages throughout the land two pilots find each other. They both hold the same passion: flying. Lieutenant Marion "Lynx" Wright is a stubborn female pilot that will do anything to push for her dreams of flight. When deployment strikes Marion she is forced to fly to fight. When she meets Lieutenant Niklaus "Mutig" Schmid her whole world is flipped upside down. Will the war tear down their relationship? Will it lay her to rest? Him? prologueThe wind blew in my face harder than it ever had, both hypothetical and real. I pray for everyone everyday. I fought the truth sometimes, which resulted In overly painful moments. I never know when my final breath will be; tomorrow? There is a sneak peak curated just for you. Be on the lookout for more updates regarding this beautiful love and wartime story.
