5/19/2023 0 Comments Legends never die"The life long legacy of those who have lived before us continue to foresee the future due to their example in excellence." Life is never ever easy, and everyone can definitely agree with that statement. There seems to be more of a meaning to life than what everyone might believe. The goal of life seems to accomplish all dreams while attaining full enlightenment. However, is that really true? Well, it is really easy to see the words disappearing off the face of the ‘book of life’ unique to each and every person’s personal life. What is that bigger picture? The theory behind everything can be stated as Newton’s third law, which is: “with every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.” While testing the vindictive truth to this statement it is easy to find truth here. How could this really be applied to life?
Nothing ever ends with a beginning or begins with an end. See, life is just absolutely beautiful… isn’t it? It all started on the fateful day in the month of December in the year 2016. That was when ‘fate’ hit so hard that it was rebranding my soul to even fathom what had just happened. That year was a trip to the all too hidden island of Kauai, which is situated in the Hawaiian Island Archipelago. A simple trip turned into so much more. I still to this day remember the duration of my first initial breaths spent inside an international airport. The smell of roasted coffee enhanced the airy vibe of the white walls with large windows. Time seemed to have stopped the very instance when my eyes were directed to one of the panes of glass. A small peak of luminent light was forced through the transparent surfaces. My eyes traced the shape of a Boeing B737, which obviously glistened in the sunlight. There was nothing like it… it was a bird… or was it not? Ever since my mind could reminisce, the one object that could have caught my eyes in the sky was a bird. Their wings caught the wind as if some unforeseen force was holding them up. Birds of several colors added love and diversity to my eyes. It was hard to even grasp the concept as to how these creatures kept themselves flying. Was it an invisible force? I guess the colloquial thoughts ran deep through the mind of a young teen, who was foreseen as a curious soul with so much to discover. That same metal tube was flying just like the small birds that I loved to watch flow through the air. They made it look effortless -like they were born to do it. A plane was never just born just like a bird… it was created. The gaze of my eyes fixated on a foretold place in the plane, which I would soon find as my home away from home. It almost felt as if something was calling my name, but not just calling -screaming. The silver lining would force my brain to further research and attain more knowledge of this unfamiliar scene. The airplanes were orphic, but they were familiar -almost like I was born to be flying one and kissing the sky. Right at home was something that was clearly felt, and brought forth so much further yearn. Capricious clouds overcast the sky as if a large, cuddly blanket had been laid over the city. It was so audacious, but it sure did feel good. A true paradise is obviously not something that is necessarily found on land… it is truly found in the sky according to the pilot’s heart. What remains close will always remain closer. I could never recreate this moment, but all I remember was feeling a specific enchantment for this new world. It seemed as if my audacious self became a little more foretelling. Seeing that plane just made sense, and I thought that might have been interesting. Well, that critical moment, that specific moment would serve as the epiphany that would change my life. One look, and I was sold. One breath, and I was in love. One second, and I was in the pure bliss of heaven without being dead. This would change the course of my life forever, and prove something more. They say that with every setting sun comes a new rising one the following morning. The colors of a sunset and sunrise differ highly from day to day. No two are ever the same -they prove beauty is on the inside. There is a famous motivator behind the sun. Despite the adversity faced, the sun still returns to its spot everyday to allow peace, comfort, warmth, and a nice shot of vitamin D. It is pretty much guaranteed that the sun will continue to rise and recess every single day. When one day ends, another one begins. Synergy is what the sun produces. Being able to be high up in the heavens with the sun gazing down on me gives a simple piece of heaven. Day to day life is never simple, nor phony. There are challenges present, so one must navigate themselves around all of these inconveniences. This is real… we are living in the real world. I cannot decipher what the future has to offer everyone, but I sure can tell someone that anything is possible. A contagious moment in flying is when the wheels leave the ground. I can recall the simple moment when the wheels of the Boeing B737 left the ground. A sinking feeling took over my heart, and caused it to flutter just like the first time I fell for someone. One large breath perforated my small lungs causing a spike of anxiety. The recall of the past can be quite a challenge, but this moment I remember with surety. It was as if my body had grown wings without even doing so. A miracle it was. “Flying is the second greatest thrill known to man… landing is the first.” I could not even come close to comprehending what was happening. Takeoff, flight, landing This is what inspired me to fly. The people who came before me as well as the complex flight theory has foretold the future for me. It is that, and it will always be that.
