Photos are always one of those memory holders that keep a piece of history that will not get left behind. Taking a peek into the past, or taking a trip down memory lane, are a couple of my favorite activities. There is just something so neat about looking back in the past and taking a trip down memory lane. Cameras capture the most sentimental moments in our lives. Whether it is sad, happy, or funny these photos will surely spark some memories. Since cameras have been around they have captured many different emotions. That is one aspect of photography that I absolutely love. Many of the photos I have taken show the emotions of people and the power of nature. In another post it was mentioned how words bring forth power. This same concept is applied to photos. What will the camera capture? That is often a great question to build photo composition. While I am not a professional photographer, I love to think about how the photo will look in the end. How will it connect with emotions? Will the audience appreciate what is presented in the photo? How is the lighting? The camera is meant to capture the best moments. "You don't take a photograph, you make it." This quote summarized the concept of photography perfectly. The person behind the camera is who makes the photo, well, the photo. It is all about composition and capturing the moment. Looking back at old photos will sure bring the nostalgia of that exact moment the shutter... clicked. "Memories are like antiques. The older they are the more valuable they become."
