"Art has both a connection to the mind and the soul. In all reality, there is no right or wrong answers to the following question: what is art? Art is fruits, vegetables, nature, and even animals."
As I went forward with taking this art 1010 class I began to notice my art becoming increasingly more detailed. The importance of art is not what we see, but what we intend it to mean. As an artist I have figured out that color does not exactly have to exist to make a nice artwork. This example of a cubism piece shows just that. When curating this peace I intended the pineapple to represent my love for Hawaii. Pineapple is one of my very few favorite foods. I recently discovered a new variety on my trips to the islands. Check out that experience by reading here. In the Background I decided to do something that could accurately describe the sun's rays. On earth the sun plays a vital role in everything. In Hawaii they almost always have sunshine. I love to go to Hawaii to see the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. On one hand, it is so nice to get a tan.
