"Don't run from your dreams, soar towards them no matter what happens. This is your time to shine." The past three weeks has been absolutely exhilarating and throbbing. Don't get me wrong, but flights school is absolutely perfection in itself. I have truly had some ups and downs throughout this journey. On one note, this has been the best decision I have ever made. Dreams always live up to what they are worth too. I have really found that I cannot think twice or else I miss everything nice.
One of my main life goals is to strictly graduate from Southern Utah University with a Bachelor’s of science in aviation as well as all of my pilot license ratings, so I can become an airline pilot for Delta. The second goal I would like to list at this time is my love for traveling, which means I want to travel the globe as much as I possibly can throughout my life. I am actually working very hard towards these goals already. In order to become a commercial airline pilot for Delta specifically, I need to have all 1,000 flight hours, an airline transport pilot certificate, and a Bachelor’s degree. At this very moment in time I am working on obtaining my Bachelor’s of science in aviation, as well as all of my ratings to become a pilot. I have strict study habits that I am practicing as of right now in order to achieve this big goal of mine. As per se, this first semester of college I am going to solo fly. In the coming semesters I will earn my private pilot’s license, instrument rating, commercial rating, multi engine endorsement, certified flight instructor rating, as well as my certified flight instructor instrument rating. I do plan to be here straight through for two and a half years to be precise. After I finish my training here at Southern Utah University, my next proposition is to become a flight instructor for the University. The reason behind that is because I need to build up to 1,000 flight hours before moving on to SkyWest. SkyWest is a regional airline carrier for Delta, Alaska, American, and United Airlines. With that being said, I am currently a SkyWest pilot Cadet, which means I am taking the extra step at working for them while enrolled in flight training. In due time, after receiving a job with SkyWest and serving my time there, I will move on and switch to Delta. Every pilot’s dream is to be a captain, so one day I have strong hopes that I will make it to that left seat. As for traveling the world, that will also go hand and hand with my job as an airline pilot. I will get to see many miraculous destinations all over the world. That is right, I am indeed a SkyWest cadet! I have yet to announce that on my actual blog page here. I have discussed it on my other platforms -Instagram and Facebook.
