The majority of the earth is covered in water. This world is such a vast, amazing place to live. Whenever I venture out I am always purely amazed. The world never lets me down. Once of the most beautiful places has to be Hawaii.
When I first traveled to Hawaii my mind was purely amazed. I did not know that so much beauty can exist. It was so new, but yet still so familiar. I felt at home with a whole new perspective. Traveling is supposed to help the traveler gain more knowledge and understanding regarding people, culture, and even nature. Those three things are merely why I love to travel so so much. There is always so much to be discovered. Being able to see new places and meet knew people are both some of the best ways to expand your own universe. Since I love to write I have been brainstorming some poems. This poem was inspired by my 5 trips to Hawaii.
I sat at the bay
And watched the palm trees sway
The waves rushed up to the shore
Bringing shells from the seafloor
The waves were rollin’
Touching my hand
The breeze is chilly
The beach is hilly
Sun touching my face
Leaving no trace
The Blissful Breeze
The wind whistles now
Waves touch the tan colored sand
Summer birds sing songs
The sea breeze smells good
Diving under, a new world
Fish flounder about
Now gasping for air
My mind was in total awe
Yes, the blissful breeze
I love and highly appreciate the ocean. The ocean is not just simply a huge body of water with seemingly infinite amounts of water. This vital place is what keeps the world going around and around. It keeps the carbon cycle, oxygen cycle, as well as the water cycle in check. The ocean holds the deepest secrets -yet the most diversity. We must protect it in order to ensure a safe and bright future for us, the planet, as well as other organisms that share the world.
"Words are not just words, but they are pure emotions and pure painted images. A writer writes words just like an artist paints a canvas."
