“Maybe this war was there to teach each and every one of us a lesson. After all, doesn't everything happen for a reason? Yes, yes it does. This has not just been a story of love and hope, but rather, it has been a story of harsh understanding with a blunt epiphany. Don't be afraid, don't be afraid of the inevitable. It is going to happen. let us all focus on the immediate rather than the past. It is ever so important to use the past as a learning tool to guide in the present and build the future. Mistakes were never bad, they are meant to sometimes and most often have habitual recurrence to teach us something. Maybe that something is good, or maybe it is even bad. Whichever road fork it is, it's ever so pressing to comprehend and understand that change is the greatest thing in life.” This week's blog post has to do with my book! I wrote this ahead of time because school has been very busy. I am pleased to announce the finished product of this book. After countless hours spent writing, reading, and editing, this story is complete. I entered it into the 2022 Wattys book competition through Wattpad. Wattpad is the website where you can find my book. This is such a wonderful opportunity in itself. Even if I do not win some sort of title to go with it, just submitting and finishing my romance novel is so amazing to know. This is s a detailed summary of the book I had to provide for the competition. Huge disclaimer!!! This contains heavy spoilers. In order to get the full experience of this cute wartime romance you must read my book.
This war time romance novel is an absolute must read. In all honesty, this book has taken me several years, many drafts, and probably a lot more than 500 hours to complete. With all of the writing process done I have published it to Wattpad. Wattpad is a writing publishing service that allows people to read works online in the comfort of anywhere. I also go by jettAV8R on this site as well. Nur Für Dich is such a heart throbbing story that will have the reader on edge waiting for what is about to happen. Just within the past few weeks the 2022 Watty writing competition opened. Since I finished this book I decided to enter it into this contest! This is such a huge accomplishment for me because I never thought I would be here doing this today. I never thought I would ever get to finish writing a novel with a beautiful plot. So, be watching for the news regarding that here soon in October. ___ Eighteen year old Marion ‘Lynx’ Wright is a female pilot, who absolutely will take any second to fly in the sky. Flying has always been her passion. When a simple letter from the United States Government shows up in her mailbox at her house in the outskirts of Manhattan, New York, she is forced to fight. Marion Wright is stricken with deployment, which means she is forced to fly to fight. The year of 2022 has not been a good one for the world because the Third World War has begun. Many people from all over the world were already dying. It is only a matter of time before communism spreads throughout the western countries as well as the continent of Europe. The world must unite their militaries to take the problem down first hand. With the thought of her own death peaking in the back of her mind, Marion is carried away to Germany. An unexpected plane crash with a near death experience causes her to meet 20 year old Nicholas ‘Rummel’ Schneider, who is also a pilot. Both pilots must find a way to survive in the wake of dark abyss. Through faith, perseverance, and integrity these lovebirds attempt to overcome a lot. Wright faces several amounts of hate and beguile since she is a female pilot fighting in the frontlines. On occasion she finds herself in predicaments with the other pilots. Lieutenant Anderson always seems to find his way into her life when she least expects or wants it. Marion must push through all of the hate thrown at her. Throughout her life, Marion has always been a strong willed woman. She believes in being independent and the highlight of her life is flying. Since her parents died due to the war she has never been the same since. She feels deeply alone -until she meets Nick. Being alone has taught her the important ethics and values of how to succeed. Marion is indeed ‘The Angel of the Skies.’ Never in her life did Marion think she would fall in love, fall in love with a pilot that is. The moment she lays eyes on her savior, she is bound to stay in his loving arms forever and ever. It appears that Nicholas has a deep soft spot for her. Their first kiss is the most sincere one ever. Nick always wants Marion to know that he is there for her and that he cares so deeply for her. The fine looking pilot would do anything for his little bird. With Nicholas being German and Marion being American they must work through being split apart. Will the war lay them to rest? Several weeks pass before Nick is taken away from the arms of Marion. Remembering the last kiss he gave her at the military ball was always something that consumed Marion after hearing the news of his death. During this short time she is really feeling the deep affects of the war. No matter what she must keep fighting. Each morning her body struggles to get up, each second she takes to think is hard, and every moment seems to cause a flair up in her post traumatic stress disorder. Fighting the frontlines was never easy, and it never will be. The news of Nicholas’ death rages throughout the world and echoes back into the ears of Miss. Wright. With the best pilot in Germany dead, Marion must find a way to overcome it on her own. When she it put in charge of teaching the last class before the final battle stars she stands up against the men and shows them the right way to war. War is never good, but war is all about strategy. The odds may seem to be against her, but it is soon realized that her plan of Mediterranean flying is going to work out. Lieutenant Nathan Hayes as well as Lieutenant Marelli has a deep crush on her just like every other pilot in the Air Force. They all face deep adversity with loss, grief, and anger. Many other pilots are associated with Marion throughout the book helping her, as well as challenging her. Most of them agree with her life decisions to become a pilot, while others do not agree. Lieutenant Anderson will do anything in his power to stop her from becoming the best and most trusted pilot in the world. She really is an ace -based on how many air tactical shoot downs she has. As the final stop neared before heading in to finish off the war Marion remembers what she lives for: flying. The final action lead Marion to the hospital as her plane plummeted to the ground. After waking up Marion received an unexpected invitation to the military awards assembly. With Nick still gone she is skeptical about her final decision to go. Before the ceremony Marion takes a trip back to Germany where she visits the grave of Nicholas. Little did she know the love of her life would show up at the hangar to greet her. The world thought he was dead, but how did he survive? Luck. They kissed and cried tears of joy. The war ceased and peace reigned throughout the world. All because of Marion’s faith and determination everyone was safe yet again. The fateful day came when the pinning ceremony was. Marion ‘Lynx’ Wright was given the highest award in the air force for her efforts in preserving her country -her home. She served with dignity and pride. Her faith never wavered once. She was proud of herself, however there was someone missing: Nicholas. Before Marion knew it a voice was heard admitting a long kept secret. He loves her, and he wants to sped forever and ever with her. She turned around to be met with Nicholas kneeling on one knee, asking for her hand in marriage. “Yes!” She said without hesitation. For another moment they are lost in each other -kissing and smiling for the world to see. Life is just pure bliss. “Maybe this war was there to teach each and every one of us a lesson.
